The United States release of the manga has been completed by VIZ Media. Rurouni Kenshin is subtitled “Wandering Samurai” in some English releases, as a rough translation of “Rurouni.”
Writer Kaoru Shizuka has written an official Rurouni Kenshin novel titled Voyage to the Moon World. The novel has been translated by VIZ Media and distributed in the United States and Canada.

With the returning of the day his mother died, Ichigo seems to be
different than usual. And what is the reason behind the word he speaks
- "this is the day my mother was killed and not passed away"!? And what
is the real truth behind it...!?.
When
they woke up, Chad was no where to be seen. With the sent traced from
the parrot they try to search for Chad, but on its way they meet with
Karin who was worn out and could not even stand properly. When Ichigo
asks her what happens, Karin tells him the sad story about a spirit and
his past...
And after that was over, Ichigo gets a new stuff - but that turns out to be a ...!?
There are 37 pieces of pictures, and all of the illustrations are taken from the original work created by the author, deleting the colored parts. The pictures include big, A4 sized pieces, postcard pictures, and specially illustrated works especially for this purpose. The postcards can be used as ordinary postcards, so send your friends a greeting with your colored version postcards!!
